A Jamf Case Study
Seattle Children’s Hospital, a pediatric and adolescent academic medical center, wanted to improve the patient experience with its “iPads for Kids” program while addressing challenges around device setup, privacy, and staff workload. Working with Jamf and the Bungie Foundation, the hospital needed a faster, more secure way to deploy age-appropriate iPads to children during their stay.
Jamf Pro helped Seattle Children’s Hospital streamline device management by allowing staff to quickly assign preloaded content, cutting setup time from hours to minutes and getting devices to patients in about 10 minutes. Jamf also enabled remote wiping and factory resets to protect PHI, and the program has supported 123,000 children while making care more engaging, improving family conversations, and easing pressure on care teams.
