A Jamf Case Study
The School District of La Crosse, serving about 7,000 students across 20 schools, wanted to close the technology gap and give every student equal access to devices. To support that goal, the district launched an iPad program and needed a reliable way to manage thousands of student devices with limited IT staff, partnering with Jamf and Jamf Pro for device management.
Jamf helped the district scale its Apple program from 3,000 to more than 8,000 iPad and MacBook Air devices without adding technical staff. Using Jamf’s pre-stage enrollment, policies, and Jamf Self Service, the district achieved its smoothest rollout yet: students could set up devices in under 20 minutes, 1,800 devices were distributed in 25 hours, and the program improved classroom engagement, access, and student-teacher interaction.
