Cabela’s, the outdoor retail company based in Sidney, Nebraska, needed a complete way to deploy new Mac workstations, support custom configurations in a uniform environment, and maintain inventory for compliance and asset management across 175+ Macs. Before working with Jamf, its IT team relied on a remote desktop tool and an open-source utility that were limited and unreliable.

Jamf’s Casper Suite gave Cabela’s centralized Mac management, allowing the team to run custom scripts through policies, automate workstation check-ins, and quickly generate inventory reports with Recon. The result was a much faster compliance response: a task that could have taken two weeks was reduced to two days, largely automated, while also reducing day-to-day administration time.
