A Jamf Case Study
Kansas School District faced the challenge of managing a large, complex K-12 environment with thousands of Macs, PCs, and iOS devices spread across 60 sites, including a 6,000-device one-to-one program. The district needed a comprehensive imaging solution, remote management across unique subnets, and flexible administration tools, and turned to Jamf’s Casper Suite for help.
Jamf worked directly with the district’s IT team to extend Casper Suite capabilities, create custom scripts, and streamline imaging and management workflows. The results were substantial: the district was able to fully image machines in 25 minutes or less, peak at 450 images per day, update every user’s password in a single day, and later manage 14,000 Macs and 1,000 iOS devices more easily, while also enabling self-service app distribution and reducing IT workload.
