Emma Children’s Hospital in Amsterdam wanted to modernize patient engagement in its teenagers ward and replace outdated wall-mounted entertainment monitors with a more flexible, patient-friendly solution. Working with Jamf and Jamf Pro through CareServant, the hospital aimed to deliver personalized iPad experiences that better matched different patient ages and needs while reducing the need for staff involvement.

Jamf helped CareServant manage and configure iPads by room and patient, with customized apps and branded home screens preloaded for each device. The result was a more engaging bedside experience, improved communication between patients, families, and care teams, and fewer calls to nurses—giving staff more time for frontline care. Emma Children’s Hospital also plans to expand the iPad offering further.
