A Jamf Case Study
Teesside University in Middlesbrough, United Kingdom wanted to future-proof learning and give students the same technology tools to thrive in a fast-changing, digital education landscape. To support its Future Facing Learning initiative, the university launched a 1-to-1 iPad program and needed a scalable way to manage thousands of Apple devices across campus, so it turned to Jamf and Jamf Pro.
Jamf implemented centralized Apple device management for Teesside University, using Jamf Pro and Jamf Cloud to deploy and support nearly 4,000 iPads alongside Macs and iPhones. The rollout enabled zero-touch setup, app distribution, exam lockdowns, and accessibility support for students with learning differences; the impact included minimal support needs and an 85% positive student response on iPad-supported learning in Semester 1.
