Case Study: Scottish Borders Council achieves digitised learning at scale with Jamf

A Jamf Case Study

Preview of the Scottish Borders Council Case Study

Digitising the learning experience with 10,000+ iPad devices

Scottish Borders Council launched the Inspire Learning Project to refresh its education curriculum and help students build digital skills through digitised learning. With more than 10,000 iPads to support across a geographically dispersed region, the council needed a way to deliver a consistent, secure, and personalized Apple experience at scale. Jamf helped Scottish Borders Council provision devices efficiently with Apple device management and zero-touch enrollment.

Using Jamf Pro and Jamf Self Service, Scottish Borders Council rolled out apps, enabled collaboration, and allowed teachers to manage devices and learning groups remotely while supporting offline use and individual student needs. Jamf enabled the project to scale to nine high schools, maintain strong engagement, and provide a seamless experience for students and teachers, with more than 10,000 iPads deployed across the region.
