A Jamf Case Study
Crane School District, a low-income K-8 district in Yuma, Arizona, needed a way to bring modern learning technology to students despite severe funding limits. Through Apple’s ConnectED program and with Jamf helping manage the devices, the district transitioned from a 100% Windows environment to an Apple-based iPad program that could support nearly 7,000 devices.
Jamf enabled Crane School District to manage its large fleet efficiently, saving $10,000 through inventory capabilities alone and freeing one IT person to oversee the program. With Jamf, the district expanded iPads districtwide in 24 months, improved project-based learning and formative assessment, and saw fourth-grade students achieve 50% more growth in science, math, and ELA compared with comparable students nationwide.
