Case Study: Shenandoah University achieves simplified Apple device management and saved Help Desk time with Jamf

A Jamf Case Study

Preview of the Shenandoah University Case Study

A standardized platform for a better learning experience

Shenandoah University needed a better way to track thousands of Apple devices, deploy software without disrupting users, and improve IT support as it expanded its Mac and iOS-based iMLearning program. As the campus moved toward becoming a 95% Apple environment, the university turned to Jamf’s Casper Suite to manage its growing fleet of MacBooks, iOS devices, and lab machines.

Jamf implemented the Casper Suite, including Self Service, to centralize inventory, automate software updates, and reduce manual Help Desk work. The results were significant: Shenandoah University reclaimed about 300 Help Desk hours from nearly 2,800 Self Service installs, streamlined patching and account tasks, and gained much better visibility and control over its devices—helping the IT team manage operations with far less disruption.
