Low Carbon powers 160,000 homes with James Ford Design

The customer, Low Carbon, needed to engage community and stakeholder groups about their Gate Burton Energy Park, a major new solar and energy storage facility. James Ford Design (jfd), as part of The Camargue Group, was brought in to support the public consultation required for the Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP).

James Ford Design provided a full suite of services including brand identity, print, and digital materials. They created a strong identity for the project, developed a dedicated website, and managed a multi-stage public consultation programme. This helped strengthen stakeholder relationships and contributed to the successful granting of the Development Consent Order (DCO) in July 2024 for the 500 MW project, which will power approximately 160,000 homes.
