Escapia, a global vacation-rental marketplace serving hundreds of millions of travelers and more than 1.1 million listings, faced the challenge of centrally managing 40 geographically distributed websites in 14 languages while integrating with its Java-based architecture and handling rapid traffic growth. To address this, Escapia selected Jahia’s Digital Factory / Digital Experience Manager (DX platform) to provide a unified, API-driven content platform that supports localized content and a streamlined editorial experience.

Jahia implemented Digital Factory across clustered servers with customizable components and external APIs so engineers could build unique features while editors worked in an intuitive interface. The Jahia solution centralized management of 40 sites in 14 languages, supported roughly 900 million annual visitors and 1,100,000 listings, improved editorial efficiency, increased system resilience (static backups exist but haven’t been needed), and accelerated time‑to‑market through reusable code and content.
