University of Queensland Reduces Time to Tender by 50%

The University of Queensland (UQ), a top‑50 global university serving about 55,000 students, was hampered by manual procurement processes—Word docs, spreadsheets and email—for a small team managing ~AUD500M spend, 9,500 suppliers and thousands of transactions. To streamline planning, tendering and contracting while improving compliance and analytics, UQ selected JAGGAER and its JAGGAER One platform.

JAGGAER implemented a staged rollout of JAGGAER One (Supplier Management, Sourcing, Contracts and assistive AI) to create a single web‑based procurement hub with dashboards, in‑system approvals and Q&A features. The solution eliminated document/email churn, improved visibility and governance, and delivered measurable gains: a 50% reduction in time to tender, a 0.75 FTE administrative saving, increased tendering capacity and richer spend analytics.
