University of New Mexico Continuously Adopts New Technology to Stay Ahead of the Curve

The University of New Mexico, a Carnegie R1 institution serving about 22,000 students, faced major procurement challenges from paper-based requisitions across branch campuses and a failing homegrown FoxPro system that lacked security, scalability, sourcing and contract management. Seeking a modern, integrated platform, UNM turned to JAGGAER to replace manual workflows and fractured integrations and to gain better control over sourcing, contracts and regulated research materials.

JAGGAER implemented a suite of solutions—eProcurement, Sourcing, Contracts+, Invoicing and Research Material Management (with a stockroom module), integrated with Banner—enabling a fully paperless workflow, centralized contract repository, configurable security for lab inventories, and stockroom purchasing through eProcurement. The result: reduced cycle times, increased purchasing from campus stockrooms, seamless operations during the COVID-19 remote transition, improved finance visibility and stronger compliance and scalability thanks to JAGGAER.
