A JAGGAER Case Study
Tulsa Community College (TCC), the largest two-year college in Oklahoma serving 35,000 students, faced rising enrollment and deep state budget cuts that put pressure on staff and required the purchasing department to deliver hard-dollar savings and greater transparency. To address slow, paper‑based procurement and disparate ERP systems, TCC selected the JAGGAER eProcurement solution, including hosted catalogs and electronic purchase order management.
JAGGAER replaced manual processes with virtual storage and online catalogs, cutting PO processing from 38 to 9 minutes, converting roughly 20,000 files (clearing 64 linear feet of filing cabinets), and eliminating more than 12,000 printed POs. The JAGGAER solution now handles 100% of TCC spend, routes 35% through preferred suppliers, yielded an average 19% discount on $1.4M in 2010 spend, and saved nearly $100,000 in freight costs that year—while improving accuracy, reducing calls, and increasing purchasing transparency.
