Tennessee Board of Regents Streamlines Spend and Supplier Management

The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR), a $2.2 billion higher education system serving 46 institutions, faced inefficient, decentralized procurement where each college required separate supplier registrations and the system lacked collective spend visibility for strategic sourcing. To address these challenges, TBR selected JAGGAER’s eProcurement and spend management solution via an E&I contract to centralize supplier and spend data and enable systemwide sourcing decisions.

JAGGAER implemented a phased spend-management rollout that centralized supplier registration, automated manual tasks, and integrated with TBR’s ERP, with full implementation typically taking 16–20 weeks. The JAGGAER solution delivered measurable benefits: single, systemwide supplier registration, improved operational efficiency and cost savings, supplier self-service for data updates, stronger strategic sourcing with better negotiated rates, and clearer spend analytics for more informed decisions.
