Miba AG, a leading Austrian high‑tech manufacturer, restructured its Purchasing into a matrixed, category‑managed organization and needed to standardize and digitize both direct and indirect procurement to increase efficiency, transparency and speed, integrate with SAP ERP, and eliminate maverick buying. To meet these goals Miba selected the SRM and sourcing portal from JAGGAER as its eSolution platform.

JAGGAER implemented integrated SRM, RFQ, Registration, Supplier Evaluation & Development modules plus eProcurement and procure‑to‑pay workflows, fully connecting to Miba’s SAP ERP and enabling WebEDI order confirmations. As a result, JAGGAER centralized procurement processes and supplier data, reduced processing costs, prevented maverick buying by routing purchases through Purchasing, improved supplier performance analysis and risk management, and established a standardized end‑to‑end MRO purchasing process.
