The Georgia Department of Administrative Services needed to stretch taxpayer dollars and improve use of negotiated statewide contracts, but employees had difficulty finding and using those agreements—leaving only about 6% of the state’s spend under management. To address this, the state partnered with JAGGAER to modernize procurement and increase contract compliance.
JAGGAER helped build Team Georgia Marketplace, integrating JAGGAER’s eProcurement, catalog and supplier‑management capabilities with the state ERP to provide an easy online shopping portal, automated tracking and reporting, and a Consortium Community for local public entities. The JAGGAER‑powered solution drove rapid adoption and a dramatic increase in spend under management from the prior 6%, delivered substantial time savings and smarter purchasing, and enabled the Georgia Department of Audits to move to an almost 100% paperless process.
