South Ayrshire Council (SAC), a Scottish local authority responsible for delivering services to about 113,000 residents and managing procurement across a multi‑million pound portfolio, struggled with manual, spreadsheet‑and‑email based contract and supplier management that was time‑consuming and error‑prone.
