NürnbergMesse, one of the world’s largest exposition companies managing €110 million in purchase volume with a 14‑person Central Purchasing team, faced decentralized, non‑standardized services procurement for highly individualized event projects. This led to poor transparency, purchase orders that often didn’t match delivered services, lost supplier discounts, limited planning and reporting, and lengthy manual ordering and invoicing processes. To address this, NürnbergMesse partnered with JAGGAER and chose JAGGAER’s eProcurement, Sourcing/RFQ, POM and eInvoice capabilities.
JAGGAER implemented an integrated procurement platform with full SAP ERP integration, standardized workflows, approval routing, supplier RFQ logging and searchable audit trails, plus a company rollout and training for over 220 users. As a result, JAGGAER made service orders more transparent and flexible, automated and standardized ordering, sped up payment approvals, improved compliance and archiving, and better documented communication with up to 1,800 suppliers—shortening processing times and eliminating much of the prior manual work.
