KEBA Discovers More Efficiency with Automation

KEBA AG, an Austrian automation-technology company operating globally, faced high process costs and long lead times from manually handling procurement end-to-end — especially award confirmations (about 70,000 per year). To digitize supplier registration, RFQs, ordering and supplier management, KEBA began working with JAGGAER in 2014 to implement a single SRM-driven procurement platform (including Purchase Order Management, eProcurement, registration and RFQ modules).

JAGGAER deployed its SRM portal and modules to automate order and confirmation processing, supplier self-registration and Procure-to-Pay workflows. The solution now processes roughly 65% (about 45,000 of ~70,000) award confirmations electronically with a target of 80%, reduced approval times for sub-€50 requests to about one minute, improved supplier master data, shorter lead times and lower processing costs — freeing KEBA buyers for strategic work and improving negotiation leverage. JAGGAER’s platform also increased transparency and traceability across procurement.
