HELLA, a global automotive lighting and electronics supplier with roughly 29,000 employees across about 100 locations, struggled to coordinate and bundle purchasing demands across disparate sites and legacy tools that could not scale. HELLA engaged JAGGAER to provide software that would enable global requirement bundling, targeted RFQs, and improved supplier coordination.

JAGGAER built a fully customized requirement-bundling application that integrates HELLA’s SAP ERP forecasts and non‑SAP sources, consolidating data from ten ERP systems into a single information pool. The solution streamlined RFQ workflows and supplier submissions via a portal, enabling HELLA to create 200 RFQs in 15 minutes, reclaim significant administrative time (previously about 70% of an employee’s workload), improve negotiation leverage through demand bundling, and gain consolidated global visibility of offers.
