Hologic, a global leader in nucleic acid testing, faced limited visibility into indirect spend, fragmented purchasing across departments, heavy pCard use and slow manual requisitions that prevented strategic sourcing. To centralize and leverage its buying power, Hologic partnered with JAGGAER and deployed JAGGAER’s eProcurement solution (including the Science Catalog) to drive user adoption and procurement visibility.
JAGGAER enabled 800+ suppliers (80 with full catalogs), integrated the platform with Hologic’s ERP, automated approvals and provided on-site support, which cut approval times from three days to minutes and supported comparative shopping and supplier consolidation. The JAGGAER implementation delivered quantifiable impact: roughly $1.5 million (26%) annual savings in the first year, a 55% reduction in pCard use, $200,000 saved on disposable lab coats, and an additional $200,000 realized as procurement became a strategic, value‑added partner.
