A JAGGAER Case Study
HOERBIGER, a global leader in compressor, engine technology and hydraulics, needed to automate procurement, improve supplier communication and centralize category management while ensuring SAP connectivity and protecting sensitive technical designs. To meet these goals, HOERBIGER chose JAGGAER and its SRM supplier portal/modules to build a customized supplier portal covering supplier registration, RFQs, purchase orders, evaluations and action‑point management.
JAGGAER implemented an SAP‑integrated SRM portal that enables supplier self‑registration and qualification, interdepartmental supplier ratings (stoplight view), centralized RFQ tracking, enforced NDAs and automatic deletion of technical attachments 30 days after RFQ close. After Best Practice training and rollout to European and U.S. sites, HOERBIGER now manages communications with more than 2,000 suppliers via JAGGAER’s SRM Portal, improving transparency, generating category synergies, reducing process time and protecting proprietary data.
