A JAGGAER Case Study
GROHE, a global leader in bathroom and kitchen fittings, faced extremely complex inbound logistics and supplier coordination around its hub-based “long journey, quick access” model. In 2012 GROHE partnered with JAGGAER to replace an inflexible IT solution with a scalable, worldwide purchasing and logistics platform—deploying Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), a supplier portal and later RFQ, DAE and Contract Management modules.
JAGGAER’s VMI and supplier-portal solutions, integrated with GROHE’s SAP landscape, gave suppliers real-time visibility to stock, orders and production forecasts, eliminating manual ordering work and enabling faster, more precise deliveries. The results include automatic processing of more than 160,000 orders per year, over 90% supplier adoption of the portal, 1,600 article storage combinations in VMI, roughly 15,000 material‑plant combinations from 600+ suppliers, ~1,100 eRFQs annually and about 3,000 contracts administered—delivering maximum utilization, short response times and eliminated ordering costs thanks to JAGGAER.
