A JAGGAER Case Study
The University of Colorado’s Procurement Service Center (PSC) supports four campuses and manages more than $1 billion in annual spend for faculty, staff, clinicians, students and dozens of distinct departments. Facing the dual challenges of scale and highly varied customer needs, the PSC lacked visibility into requisitions and invoices and needed faster, simpler purchasing so customers could focus on their core work. To address this, the PSC partnered with JAGGAER and adopted its eProcurement, Invoicing and Sourcing solutions.
JAGGAER implemented an online Marketplace, automated eInvoicing and eSourcing to provide end-to-end visibility and streamline workflows. As a result, 91% of purchases are processed in one day or less, 75% of orders are placed through the Marketplace, and 58% of vendor invoices are processed electronically; JAGGAER Sourcing has helped award more than $14 million to suppliers and the university realized over $7 million in negotiated savings in FY2016. The JAGGAER solutions also drastically reduced paper, sped approvals, and improved customer satisfaction while elevating procurement’s strategic role.
