Electronic Signatures Integrated in JAGGAER Provide Agility and Business Continuity for Public Procurement in Wales

The Welsh Government faced the need to modernize public procurement amid a wider digital action plan and the twin shocks of Covid-19 and Brexit, while working with legacy tools and dispersed teams. To support sourcing and tendering across the devolved administration it uses JAGGAER’s eTenderWales / eDendro Cymru eProcurement platform.

JAGGAER implemented DocuSign electronic signature functionality directly in eTenderWales, enabling secure remote signing and automatic filing of contracts. Since mid‑March 2020 several hundred contracts have been signed electronically, cutting turnaround from weeks to minutes, maintaining business continuity during lockdown and delivering measurable productivity, inclusiveness and digital transformation benefits for the Welsh Government.
