E&I Cooperative Services Streamlines Contract Sourcing Processes for 5,000 Members

E&I Cooperative Services is a member-owned, non-profit procurement cooperative serving more than 5,000 higher education and K–12 institutions. The organization struggled with labor‑intensive, paper‑based sourcing and a fragmented contract management process—RFPs were submitted in binders, evaluations relied on email and Excel, and the average RFP cycle was about nine months—so E&I selected JAGGAER (Sourcing and Contracts+) to modernize and integrate sourcing and contract workflows.

JAGGAER implemented its Sourcing platform (fully live in November 2019) and is deploying Contracts+ for end-to-end contract lifecycle management, digitizing supplier registration, bid submissions, and evaluations. As a result, E&I moved 100% of bid submissions to a digital portal, shifted 100% of supplier registration to online self-service, eliminated Excel comparison matrices, onboarded evaluation teams, saved dozens of review hours, and is targeting a reduction in RFP cycle time from ~9 months to about 3.5 months.
