DIOSNA Finds Modern Purchasing Optimization

DIOSNA Dierks & Söhne, a leading mechanical engineering company in Osnabrück serving the baking and pharmaceutical industries, needed to professionalize and streamline purchasing while keeping proALPHA as its master ERP. They engaged JAGGAER to deploy its All in One Supply Collaboration platform — including Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), eSourcing/RFQ, eProcurement and POM — to reduce manual administrative work, tighten category-based sourcing, and free resources for strategic tasks.

JAGGAER developed a custom proALPHA interface and implemented automated batch transfers so supplier registration, RFQs, orders and confirmations flow seamlessly between systems. The solution added automatic reminders and supplier confirmation workflows, allowed Cost Break Downs in award scenarios, and synced accounts-payable data directly into proALPHA. As a result, roughly 80% of ordered items are now processed via the POM module, request and ordering cycles are faster and more transparent, and manual effort has been substantially reduced.
