Danish Crown, one of the world’s largest meat processors and a cooperative owned by ~6,000 farmers, needed to raise the profile and performance of procurement to meet stricter compliance, traceability and efficiency demands across global operations. To standardize, simplify and digitize source-to-pay processes, Danish Crown selected JAGGAER in 2018 as its procurement technology partner, deploying JAGGAER’s end-to-end eProcurement/source-to-pay solution.

Working with JAGGAER, Danish Crown executed a six‑phase transformation (2019–mid‑2023), rolling out S2C then P2P with supplier management, guided buying, contract lifecycle management and a 360° supplier dashboard to drive automation and on‑contract spend. The JAGGAER implementation has cut manual effort, reduced workflow bottlenecks, improved cost visibility and raised procurement’s internal profile — today over 60% of purchases are purchase‑order compliant (target 80%) and the organization reports increased on‑contract spend and time freed for value‑adding work.
