Case Study: Danish Crown achieves a unified, transparent procurement transformation and cost savings with JAGGAER

A JAGGAER Case Study

Danish Crown A Procurement Transformation

Danish Crown, Europe’s largest pork processor and a €9bn food group, faced a major procurement challenge: decades of siloed, divisional buying needed to be centralised, standardised and made transparent as part of its 4WDS transformation. To support this shift the company selected JAGGAER for its procurement technology, adopting JAGGAER’s Source-to-Contract module and planning its e-procurement (ePro) platform to tackle master data fragmentation, maverick spend and lack of group-wide visibility.

JAGGAER implemented its S2C module (launched 13 December) and is rolling out the ePro marketplace to sit above existing SAP setups, provide supplier catalogs, enforce preferred contracts and enable a six-step sourcing model. The JAGGAER rollout established a procurement baseline, improved spend control and supplier compliance, and helped Danish Crown achieve 2021 targets ahead of schedule (reaching those targets in 2019), while reducing tail spend and creating the transparency and governance needed for ongoing savings.
