Convex Insurance, an international specialty insurer and reinsurer, needed to build a controlled, future‑led procurement function from the ground up—establishing governance, risk‑based supplier management, and data-driven sourcing under new Head of Procurement Vivek Pai. To enable that transformation Convex selected JAGGAER and its supplier portal/e‑procurement capabilities (eSourcing, due diligence, contract management, third‑party risk and supplier performance management).

JAGGAER worked collaboratively with Convex to embed the platform into a robust operating framework and to feed a developing MI suite that combines datasets to deliver insights on risk, cost and performance while housing the pipeline of category initiatives. The JAGGAER implementation has helped Convex mature its procurement processes, increase stakeholder buy‑in, sharpen category strategies (IT, data, outsourcing and professional services) and future‑proof third‑party management by providing clearer, data‑driven visibility for better sourcing and risk decisions.
