The University of Montana faced cumbersome, paper-based procurement and accounts payable processes that left departments with limited visibility, no centralized purchasing, and frustrated end users unsure of order status. To address these challenges the university adopted JAGGAER solutions, deploying its branded GrizMart procurement site to streamline purchasing for staff and suppliers.
JAGGAER implemented eCataloging, eProcurement and eInvoicing and automated workflows through GrizMart, cutting maverick spending and shifting staff to exception management. The results include a 200% increase in eCatalog spend and a 445% increase in catalog orders (2012–2014), nearly $3 million in savings since 2012, improved customer service and greater spending visibility.
