The State University of New York, the largest comprehensive higher education system in the United States, was managing procurement across 64 campuses with manual, paper-based processes and no centralized visibility. With transactions moving desk to desk, multiple systems in silos, and purchase orders hard to track, SUNY needed a better way to manage procurement and supplier relationships. JAGGAER eProcurement, Invoicing, Sourcing, and Contracts+ were selected to help address those issues.
JAGGAER helped SUNY replace siloed workflows with a single, cloud-based procurement process across campuses. After piloting the platform at two campuses and then rolling it out more broadly, SUNY gained real-time transaction visibility, faster requisition approvals and PO issuance, stronger contract usage and spend tracking, and improved supplier onboarding. The university now manages more than $400.6 million in annual spend with greater control and efficiency.
