Electrify, Decarbonize, Revolutionize GE Vernova Energizes Procurement with JAGGAER

GE Vernova, an independent publicly traded energy company with more than 75,000 employees, faced a highly disparate IT landscape after decades of acquisitions and needed better visibility, control, and compliance across its procurement operations. With approximately $20 billion in annual spend and a Gas Power division managing 5,000 suppliers in more than 80 countries, the company needed to get more of its spend under management while reducing risk and supporting regulatory requirements. It engaged JAGGAER to simplify its procurement environment and support its purchasing strategy.

JAGGAER implemented JAGGAER One upstream modules covering source to contract, along with an analytics layer that sends transactional data into a data lake for analysis. GE Vernova also built Sourcing 360 as an information layer to guide buyers through actions instead of having them search across multiple ERP systems. The company said the deployment improved procurement KPIs including spend under management, RFP launches, contract visibility, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, decarbonization, and supplier engagement, and GE Vernova won the Supply Chain Initiative category in the 2024 World Procurement Awards for its Sourcing 360 implementation.
