A JadeTrack Case Study
The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) needed a way to improve aging, manual sustainability reporting and gain visibility into a large infrastructure footprint so it could reduce energy use and control utility costs. Prior to working with JadeTrack, ODRC relied on an outdated internal tool (EIM) that required time‑consuming manual data entry, produced poor data quality, and limited analysis across its many facilities.
JadeTrack implemented its utility bill management software platform to automate collection and analysis for more than 300 accounts across 27 locations, paired with a dedicated JadeTrack support manager. The solution delivered higher‑quality reporting, deeper insights, and measurable impact — ODRC now spends 90% less time on manual data collection — and is expanding into real‑time gas, electric, and water monitoring while using sustainability insights for inmate education and operational improvements.
