Essilor of America improves Hyperion performance and reduces costs with Jade Global

Essilor of America, Inc., a manufacturer and wholesale distributor of optical lenses, faced significant challenges in migrating its on-premise Hyperion environment from Oracle Managed Cloud Services to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform. The project was complicated by a lack of documentation for existing business processes and the need to test and validate numerous integrations with systems like Oracle EBS and OBIEE. To overcome this, they engaged vendor Jade Global for the migration.

Jade Global successfully executed the Hyperion migration to OCI by automating metadata interfaces and configuring and testing all system connectivity and processes. The solution provided Essilor with improved performance, availability, and a reduced cost of ownership. Jade Global's support extended through user acceptance testing and a full week after go-live, resulting in a successful implementation that was commended by the client's Director of Business Intelligence.
