Backcountry migrates 400+ reports to Looker with Jade Global

Backcountry, a leading e-commerce retailer, faced challenges modernizing its legacy business intelligence platform, OBIEE. User adoption of newer cloud BI solutions was difficult, and key intuitive features from the old system were missing in newer tools like Looker. The company engaged Jade Global to migrate its complex, existing reports and analytical workloads to a new platform without interrupting business operations.

Jade Global successfully migrated over 400 reports and built several explorers and dashboards on the Looker platform. They re-engineered custom solutions for critical features that were not available out-of-the-box in Looker, enabling self-service BI capabilities. This effort allowed Backcountry to decommission its on-premise OBIEE system, resulting in saved costs and a more empowered business with enhanced analytical capabilities.
