Inspiring Multi-Cultural Learning

Minds in Motion, owned by Darwin and Melissa Eubanks, is a Greenville, SC children’s learning center serving 70+ kids with a focus on science, math and languages. The challenge was to prepare each child for kindergarten and for an increasingly diverse, global society given the multicultural local population and changing U.S. demographics.

The center answered by building a multicultural curriculum delivered by a culturally blended staff and immersive learning spaces — including Japanese, Native American, sensory and garden beds that teach crops and cultures. As a result, children gain broader global perspectives, encounter fewer cultural barriers and arrive at school better prepared for diverse classrooms and communities.
