Preview of the Recovery Force Case Study

Recovery Force Advances Healthcare Wearable Technology with Seamless Design and Manufacture though Jabil

Recovery Force, a healthcare wearables company in Fishers, Indiana, needed a manufacturing partner that could handle the unusual combination of electronics and textiles in its next-generation compression technology. The startup also needed proven FDA and ISO 13485 expertise to help move its medical device from prototype to a commercial-ready product. Jabil, along with its Nypro healthcare and Radius innovation teams, was brought in to support product development and manufacturing.

Jabil delivered an end-to-end solution that blended design, engineering, textile, electronics integration, and regulatory know-how to accelerate Recovery Force’s path from prototype to production. The collaboration helped refine 15 design concepts, improve usability and scalability, and prepare the company for low-volume production with a clear path to automation and future volume manufacturing. As a result, Recovery Force gained a stronger, more user-friendly product and progressed toward FDA clearance and market launch with a faster, more efficient development cycle.
