Onvi Collaborates With Radius to Speed Delivery of the World’s First Smart Video Toothbrush

Onvi, a U.S.-based dental technology startup, set out to bring a smart video toothbrush from proof of concept to market but needed strong product strategy, branding, and development expertise to make it happen. To support the effort, Onvi partnered with Jabil, using Radius’s end-to-end product design, development, and delivery capabilities under Jabil to help turn the vision into a real product.

Jabil helped Onvi validate the concept through focus groups, refine the brand and user experience, and build prototypes using 3D printing at Jabil’s Blue Sky Innovation Center. The close alignment between design, 3D printing, and manufacturing helped speed time to market by months, if not a year, while reducing risk and cost. The result was a working smart video toothbrush prototype positioned to transform oral care and patient-dentist relationships.
