Xcerra, a USA-based semiconductor test company, needed a more flexible way to scale manufacturing amid market volatility, integrate acquired businesses and product lines, and stay focused on its core IP. To address these challenges, Xcerra partnered with Jabil for outsourced PCB assembly and broader end-to-end manufacturing support.

Jabil expanded the relationship into fully integrated manufacturing services, adding design for manufacturing and supply chain management expertise to help Xcerra improve quality, reduce lead times, and absorb acquisitions more smoothly. The results included a four-fold increase in production velocity, delivery lead times cut from six to eight weeks to a week or less, and the ability to build nearly 160 test solutions per quarter versus about 40 previously.
