Dubai Health Authority integrates 7 million patient records with J2 Interactive

The Dubai Health Authority faced the challenge of unifying patient health records across Dubai's public and private healthcare network, which were previously distributed and disparate. To achieve this, they partnered with vendor J2 Interactive to implement the NABIDH platform, powered by InterSystems’ HealthShare interoperability platform.

J2 Interactive integrated the NABIDH platform with numerous local health systems, establishing a robust baseline for further integration. The solution included a clinical data repository, a clinical viewer, a bilingual patient portal, and analytics tools. As a result, the platform now manages over 7 million patient records, integrates more than 200 medical facilities, and is used daily by over 26,000 physicians, providing a unified view of patient data and population health.
