Zookr, India’s No.1 e-tailer for accessories with over 10,000 products, needed a way to engage anonymous site visitors, reduce funnel drop-offs and drive repeat traffic and conversions without forcing sign-ups or relying on display ads that were blocked by many users. To solve this, Zookr turned to iZooto and its web push notification capabilities, looking to target users based on on-site behavior and funnel position.
Using iZooto’s Audience Builder and contextual web-push campaigns, Zookr segmented users by recent activity, ran mid-funnel offer alerts and automated cart-abandonment flows, and shortened retargeting to a 1-hour window. The results were dramatic: CTRs doubled within a week and transactions rose 50%, cart campaigns tripled iZooto revenue and a 1-hour retargeting tweak doubled it again, conversions were 5x those of paid campaigns, over 70% of campaigns achieved CTRs above 5%, iZooto contributed ~2% of total sales in 8 weeks and delivered a 21x ROI for Zookr.
