WTS Kora, a Middle East football news site for Arabic audiences, struggled to maintain reach and engagement as Facebook’s algorithm changes reduced visibility and made it harder to build a loyal audience. The team had already seen strong results from iZooto’s web push notifications, and they needed a better way to connect directly with followers and improve retention.
iZooto implemented Messenger push notifications for WTS Kora, using the Comment to Inbox feature to turn Facebook commenters into Messenger subscribers and deliver articles directly into their inbox. This helped WTS Kora generate 200–300 clicks per campaign, achieve a 2%–7% click-through rate, and drive 52K+ page views, while retaining readers better than organic and direct traffic.
