The customer, Serida, a research group focused on plant genetics, faced the challenge of improving organic horticultural production. They needed to monitor the health of over 200 bean varieties, capture images in different physiological states, process that data, and correlate it with climatic conditions. To address this, they partnered with vendor IZERTIS.

IZERTIS implemented a solution using drones, IoT-connected weather stations, and artificial intelligence. Their engineers developed software to process RGB and multispectral images and integrated all the data into a dashboard. This provided Serida with correlated data reports and a comparative analysis tool, enabling them to identify the best-adapted varieties for efficient and sustainable organic production.
