Case Study: Squiz achieves highly available, high-performance storage with iXsystems TrueNAS

Squiz runs 1,000+ virtual servers with TrueNAS and zero unscheduled downtime

Squiz, a global IT services and products provider, faced the challenge of managing massive amounts of data for its nearly 300 web customers and their millions of daily users. To achieve high availability and reduce operational overhead for its virtualized environment, the company turned to iXsystems and implemented its TrueNAS Enterprise storage systems.

By deploying six high availability TrueNAS arrays, iXsystems provided Squiz with a highly reliable and performant storage solution. The implementation dramatically reduced unscheduled downtime, with zero incidents reported over 18 months of continuous use. iXsystems' solution also delivered double the calculated performance capacity and was praised for its exceptional support, which provides direct access to product developers. This provided Squiz with nearly half a petabyte of scalable storage to support over 1,000 virtual servers.
