Case Study: Hornet Inc. streamlines media production with TrueNAS from iXsystems

Hornet Inc. speeds data protection 4x with iXsystems TrueNAS

Hornet Inc., an award-winning animation and production studio, faced storage challenges with their inefficient two-server SAN solution. They needed a high-performance, unified NAS system capable of handling intensive media workloads with fast speeds, high availability, and file recoverability. After struggling to get clear answers from other vendors, they turned to iXsystems and its TrueNAS storage solution.

iXsystems implemented a TrueNAS storage array that consolidated Hornet's storage into a single, high-performance solution. The results included dramatically faster replication snapshots that completed in minutes instead of overnight, seamless performance for up to sixty concurrent users, and robust data protection. Hornet Inc. achieved significant improvements in workflow and cost savings, crediting iXsystems for their exceptional industry expertise and customer support throughout the process.
