1stAveMachine, a New York-based media production company, faced challenges with its decentralized IT infrastructure which created inaccessible data silos for its staff. After unsatisfactory experiences with other storage solutions like Nexenta and NAS4Free due to cost and performance issues, they sought a unified, ZFS-based platform and contacted vendor iXsystems to evaluate the TrueNAS storage solution.

iXsystems implemented a TrueNAS high-availability storage system for 1stAveMachine.
