GEA Group, a major supplier to the food processing industry, faced challenges with their previous remote access solution which did not meet their requirements for user management and ease of use. They turned to IXON to explore a more effective way to manage remote service for their industrial refrigeration systems and provide support to their customers.

By implementing the IXrouter and migrating to the new IXON Cloud platform, GEA gained an advanced user management system that provided better control and overview. IXON's solution allowed GEA’s engineers to perform instant remote support via VPN and VNC, including direct access to HMI devices without a VPN. This increased efficiency by reducing on-site visits and enabling customers to manage their own user access. The staff found the IXON Cloud platform easy to use and configure, leading to faster service resolution and more efficient internal operations.
