Assis-tec offers innovative Industry 4.0 solutions for CNC machinery with Robofeed and IXON Cloud

Assis-tec, an Italian company providing Industry 4.0 solutions for CNC machinery, needed a flexible IIoT platform to support their new Robofeed automation system. Their challenge was to find a solution that was easy to use for customers with little technical knowledge while also meeting the high-level needs of larger multinational companies. They turned to vendor IXON to implement its cloud-based services.

The solution involved integrating IXON's Cloud Logging and Cloud Notify features with the Robofeed via Modbus TCP. This allowed Assis-tec's customers to collect real-time machine data, set up custom dashboards for analysis, and receive mobile notifications to prevent machine downtime. By implementing the IXON Cloud platform, Assis-tec gained the flexibility to serve a diverse customer base and could offer a future-proof solution that helps customers optimize their production processes and prevent costly interruptions.
